How do we top China in the number of infections when they have billions of people crammed into smaller spaces?
This is one of those things where people live in fantasy land. Never had war here (since 1840), have every new flashy thing, disposable money, and worship celebrities like Kim Kardashian. Fight over toiler paper. Wtf?
But when the shit goes down they will be saying they helped out so they can punch their virtue card.
Now we have all these infections because of dumbasses like that. Ship them to some war torn country in Africa or the Middle East and they won't survive before nightfall.
Before anyone says anything. I'm a citizen and I have the right to say these things because it is now my country too.
America Tops COVID List. WTF?

Few contributing factors
You can’t trust China to report accurately
We are doing a lot more testing & confirming,
Because we are a “free country” many people traveled all over the US before things were shut down, where China doesn’t have near the freedom of travel etc

Actually, we’re doing a lot less testing than we should.
My brother and sister in law are nurses (ICU) in Las Vegas. A guy came into the hospital a couple weeks ago for elective surgery. The nurses didn’t have proper gear for covid and the guy got sick in recovery. My brother became very sick after that and the hospital kept him busy and didn’t test him due to pandemic demands. He later tested positive for corona. We’re waiting to see if his wife and four young kids get sick. Hospital pushed off the testing due to demand / lack of personnel and he would have to leave.
I have an employee in one of my offices with a live in BF and baby. He is a firefighter and got sick. He was tested for flu, negative.. then covid. It took about a week to get his positive test. They still won’t test my employee (she’s at home) or their daughter until they show symptoms. She was sleeping with him every night before he got sick >
So, now my other employees want to be tested but, we have to wait. Lucky, we were all keeping our distance in the office.

It is sad but I am not surprised. Unhealthy diet, lack of exorcise and poor unity within families have made Americans a unhealthy society.

I just drove from Wells, through Reno into Sacramento. I don't understand... Traffic was heavy. People are out and about like everything is normal. Especially here in Sacramento. California is supposed be under a shelter in place order...

Ebola has a 50-90% mortality rate. I promise you, people would be out like nothing is going on.

Well shit... I would like to go home at some point. Right now I don't want risk exposing loved ones. I've already been out for over a month, driving my ass off. My only down time is when I need to shut down for 34 hours to reset my weekly drive time, and I stay in the truck.Rachel Varga link wrote: Ebola has a 50-90% mortality rate. I kinda feel bad about complaining since people are getting laid off and are stuck at home, but damnit, I could use a few days off to relax.

China says there are 0 new infections. A bit of a stretch. Infections don't suddenly stop, they taper off.SixT9er link wrote:

The NSA is finding that in China there are 21,000,000 fewer cell phone that are active.
Did they all of them all of a sudden run out of minutes? Maybe some or many are dead from the virus.
