I never met Maxwood, but he sent me a few messages. He seemed like a friendly guy.
Strange how things pop up in your mind & nag you but you can’t put your finger on what it is.
It’s been two years today since my friend & fellow Brothel goer Maxwood passed away.
Many of you knew him, he was a bit ornery at times (like another guy I know) but would give you the shirt off his back (same with the other ornery guy lol) if you needed it.
We would meet up when he came thru town or I’d make the trek to Elko if he was there & we’d have dinner & visit Mona’s, Inez & Dovetail.
I still think of him from time to time. This “Hobby/Lifestyle” has introduced me to many unique great people That I would not have met otherwise who I now consider friends and a few less than great that are flat out assholes. Can’t have the good without the bad, balance in all things...
Anyway, glad I figured out what was nagging me all day...
