I’ve noticed up until a few weeks/days/? (Who the hell knows what day it even is?!?) ago we all still managed to talk about the industry in some way or another but now it’s non existent?
It’s like we all hit the same wall at the same time. Are there levels of brothel withdrawal like levels of grief?

Hope

Loss of hope
Now just apathy/resignation?

I think most people are just waiting to see what happens. Local governments don't seem to have any plans, so no one knows much or can provide insight.

I've got other things to worry about, so no withdrawals.

Not one of us has any new parties to talk about or trips to share.
No get together  being planned.
No new ladies to check out.
No idea on when or if the brothels will ever re-open.
No voice in the re-opening plan for the State of Nevada.
Travel and visitor counts are way down for Nevada
I can't even go to a bar and get a basket of wings and a beer now.

Ya, so maybe it is a little bit about loss of hope as this wears on and on.

"Ditto" to what Uncle_Duke said ...not to mention all of the other BS that's happening around the country and world.  It's gotten to the point where I rarely turn on news nowadays, unless I need to.  If I listened to the news media everyday, I would be totally insane by now. LOL

I don't miss it. I would rather talk about something different. I have been making posts for fun (not counting that pricing post). Think about it. Do you want to spend your whole time in quarantine talking about a subject that we all talked about? If we have time we should have fun or have different subjects. [emoji38]

Maybe discuss why California has essentially banned independent truck drivers.

Even way back when I had to run Calif. they gave truck drivers hell.  We hated it but most of our cattle went to Calif. feedlots so.....

I haven't spent much time waiting & wondering... I've chosen to make adjustments.  As they say: when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! 

We hit ACCEPTANCE.

Our trip this month that should have brought us into Nevada on i-80 (anger), resulted in us making a left in Wyoming and heading into the Southwest part of the country instead. 

We've had to rearrange 3 LPIN trips since the quarantine happened (denial) and we have just moved forward with other adventures instead (reconstruction). 

We miss you all in the community, wish we had more opportunities to help the ladies financial situation - but have accepted that it may be a VERY long time before an LPIN adventures happens for us again, if ever. 

There's no reason to give up on sport fucking.  There are a lot of ladies out of work right now that could use your help.  All you have to do is adjust, adapt, and overcome. 

On that same note, I'll remember the ladies that worked with me through this crisis.  Those are the ladies I'll be repeating with for years to come.

We're apathetic... don't even post on the forums much any longer.  Just resigned to the fact that we won't be traveling until next year at the earliest.  Many girls are leaving permanently too, it's really sad.

This covid had me doing crazy things. The biggest one was setting up a dating profile on Match, knowing that I have no luck with women who are not sex workers. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking, but I saw one profile pic and thought, “I like her.”

The bad thing is I might end up finding someone a lot like my ex.

My luck in dating has always been bad. I had a lady friend that I was attracted to, and we took that step to start a relationship. We were official for eight hours. We were up all night at her house. Old Nick...  be like the Mr.  He had a really bad relationship in the past.  Current Mrs. is 100% the opposite of the ex in every way, literally.  It's worked well, we're like ying and yang.  Opposites do attract and you don't need to have tons in common.  It's worked for over 20 years now
