Makes me think we still have a lot to learn about our invisible friend.

Thanks for sharing, the results are very interesting. It just shows how debatable the effectiveness of masks really are when it comes to protecting oneself from COVID. Not to mention the subjects were all wearing the highest quality of surgical masks when that isn't the case for most of the general public.
The irony is that if masks worked so well then why isn't the government paying for mass distribution of masks to the general populace as that would be far more cost effective than shutting down local economies and losing billions in tax revenue.
Guess nobody else wants to talk about the study you shared though, why am I not surprised lol.

Adding to Dirks post, add, using the COVID 19 as an excuse for early release of the prison population, you hear me California, why not give the prisoners masks instead and keep us safe?

Yup, 2+2=4, if things do not add up there is factors that we do not see. We are in a time of revelations and I am not talking about the story in the christian bible, I am talking about the knowledge of things previously unknown to us. The lifting of the curtain so to speak.
All truths are in plain site and hidden by our own shadows. Look at MSM, Hollywood and Epstein, they are only a fraction of the story to be told. It is an exciting and challenging time to be alive right now. Much like society around us, if we hold onto any skeletons in the closet they are going to come out. The dominoes already started falling and there is nothing that can stop it. Flow with the current or drown, learn the lesson or the lesson repeats. Treat all those in you life, like your dearest child and you will find the truest of friends. With all my love I will find all my hate my dearest of friends.

If it was just an area and they were moving around their daily lives, is it possible to know if they got it from another person directly or off of a door handle.
It is not in a controlled environment and you don't know what people are really doing.
Several challenges regarding wearing disposable face masks in the community exist. These include practical aspects, such as potential incorrect wearing, reduced adherence, reduced durability of the mask depending on type of mask and occupation, and weather. Such circumstances may necessitate the use of multiple face masks during the day.
and
The most important limitation is that the findings are inconclusive, with CIs compatible with a 46% decrease to a 23% increase in infection. Other limitations include the following. Participants may have been more cautious and focused on hygiene than the general population; however, the observed infection rate was similar to findings of other studies in Denmark (26, 30). Loss to follow-up was 19%, but results of multiple imputation accounting for missing data were similar to the main results. In addition, we relied on patient-reported findings on home antibody tests, and blinding to the intervention was not possible. Finally, a randomized controlled trial provides high-level evidence for treatment effects but can be prone to reduced external validity.

This is why I wish all doors into or out of commercial buildings had the "big handicap button", or like grocery stores with the automatic sliding doors.
We wheelchair users appreciate such conveniences, but in the days of COVID, it should also reduce the spread of infections for everyone.

A little off the subject but I like that there are fewer people out. Fewer people to deal with and most restaurants have curbside pickup which I like.

here is a study that says the danish mask study has inconclusive results
https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M20-6817
here is what the lead author of the danish mask study has to say about the study
https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2 ... ish-study/
pay attention to this part “We think you should wear a face mask at least to protect yourself, but you should also use it to protect others,” lead author Henning Bundgaard told The Washington Post. “We consider that the conclusion is we should wear face masks.”

What? There are other precautionary measures? j/k
Distractions?
Look at the estimated human trafficking numbers? Why is this largely ignored by MSM? WHO is really in control?
