Sorry about your mom banginit. I lost my mother back in May. I did travel for her burial last summer and did test negative on both ends of the travel.

My aunt caught it at this time from her grandchildren and did get hospitalized as well. She was treated and recovered.

Vaccine is limited here to first responders and those 70+. I'm hoping that once J&J's vaccine is approved, that the pipeline will be such that the general population will be able to start getting it.

I've never been tested but probably will get it done soon. I hope the vaccines will help end the pandemic. I'm signed up for the shots & have been issued a code number by the state health dept. I'm 74 but, right now, the state is only giving the vaccine to 75 & up. I'm diabetic so that moves me up the list a little bit. My older brother is 77 & has his code number as well. Even though he's older than 75, he still might have to wait a few months before he can be vaccinated. My Mom is 97 (has her code number also) & she has no idea when she'll get the shots. This state's (the governor's) handling of this pandemic has been highly criticized & it seems like some of our politicians have jumped the line & got their shots ahead of those who are in greater need of them. Their excuse: "I just wanna show the vaccine is safe." Yeah, right!  :
