Prostate Problems? Urinary Problems?

When you can't pee, it ruins your sex life.
Here is more than a dozen different prostate procedures, with each one having their advantages and disadvantages.  You may run across more.

Keep in mind each doctor may do only one or at most three procedures.  You have to pick the procedure and then search for the doctor/clinic.  Also, you may have to travel and may have to wait three months or more for a specific doctor.  Finally, not all procedures are covered by insurance.

- Transurethral needle ablation (TUNA)  low energy radio waves using tip of catheter
-  Tranurethral Electrovaporization (TUVP) high voltage electrical current to vaporize prostate tissue
- Transurethral microwave therapy (TUMT)  microwave energy (heat)
