Well, I'm sure the honor system will work. That everyone who has chosen not to get vaccinated will continue to wear masks per CDC guidance. As well as anyone who is feeling symptoms, whether vaccinated or not.

Meanwhile I'm sure that that prince that needs me to send them $1000 in Africa, will definitely make good and send me back tenfold.

I can't blame them for using the honor system because there's no security on the vaccination cards.  You can get a printer that does double-sided printing on cardstock for $200 and a scanned image of a real card for free, and you're in business to start mass-producing cards.  They have to be filled in with the relevant information, but the only thing a person would have to make up is the lot number of the vaccine and there's no way for a store clerk to check if it's real.

So if they require cards, the people who don't want the shot can get fake cards that look like the real ones.  There's just no point.

I'm going to take a wait and see attitude before removing my mask in crowds. I've been fully vaccinated for a few weeks now but will continue to wear my mask in crowds until I'm sure the risk of getting the virus is gone.  That is unless I'm with people who I know for a fact that have been vaccinated.  Especially in Casinos where smokers constantly blow out air after taking a puff. .[/size]

I guess there are a few reasons but for now, it's not a bad idea because the variants could hit hear and I hear they are nasty bugs.

New Mexico is following CDC guidelines regarding mask wearing but even though I'm fully inoculated, I'm still gonna wear my mask for awhile longer. Some stores (Walmart/Costco/Target) & public venues (sports) are letting folks in without masks but local grocery stores (Smith's/Albertson's) are still asking patrons to keep them on. I've noticed fast-food places still only have drive-up or curb-side pickup. They've not opened inside dining yet. Restaurants along with wineries & breweries that serve food are allowed 75% capacity (inside & outside) but they can make their own rules on mask wearing when not eating or drinking. Bars are limited to 25% inside & 50% outside capacities with no mask requirements - Bar owners are pissed. They say they should have the same rules as restaurants.
