The intent of this events schedule was to list the most popular, famous and major events in proximity of the two largest population Nevada Counties which are Clark and Washoe. The list would have been too extensive to include events in the smaller population and distant Counties of Churchill, Elko, Humboldt, Lincoln, Lyon, Pershing, and White Pine.

The topic is primarily concerned with well-known and even legendary events around Reno and Las Vegas. Therefore, The SEMA Show, Shot Show, NHRA Drags, AVN, Nascar, VIVA Las Vegas, Hot August Nights, Reno Balloon Races, Reno Air Races, Street Vibrations, LPIN Annual Gathering and etcetera were listed.

The topic is not directly related the LPIN Awards, but it lists the future LPIN Annual Gatherings.

Elko wasn't portrayed as anything other than distant, since it's a 4 hour drive from Reno.
Elko, Ely, Pahrump and other distant cities are off the beaten track, so their events weren't included.

I have visited Reno and Las Vegas over 25 times each. I have attended and have personal knowledge of most of the Reno & Las Vegas events so those were listed.

I have only visited Elko twice in 77 years (July 18 & 19, 2023), and I don't have personal knowledge of their events. Louis, you should know more about Elko's events, so have at it and make a list.

Unless this is about tooting your own horn about how great you are, how know one puts in the effort you do, and venting your frustration that the awards are not coming back to Elko. Unfortunately we’ll never know because you chose differently.

You are more than welcome to post here contrary to your belief. The difference is here we all don’t fawn over you & tell you how awesome you & your house is like they do on the SIE board.

You often suggest that Elko is now the center of LPIN but overlook the facts.
Elko has maybe amongst the 4 houses when all are open 24 Ladies available.
The Mustang alone has been running 28-32 Ladies every week just by themselves excluding the 20-30 Ladies in Moundhouse that’s 50 min in round numbers in the Greater Reno area

Elko has plenty to offer & should be touted for what it has but it’s not the center of LPIN & you should stop expecting others to believe it is just because you do & want it to be
