The site has been down because of the traffic from the AMA I did. It was very successful and I had no idea that was going to happen.

I'm sorry guys/gals. In the future I will take precautions. I will probably move my website to a completely different server.

Thanks for being so patient.

Good news!

Make sure the new server can handle the massive amount of traffic you create!

Thanks. The more people understand that we are not hos in a shack shooting up heroine then the better it is for us.

I'd love to see the day when Sex Work is looked at more humanly and accepted more mainstream.

Good to see the board back online!  I was wondering what happened, then I saw your tweet about Reddit's Hug of Death ...LOL.

Glad your AMA was a big success!  :)

Back in July 21, 2012 Amy Page from the BunnyRanch did an AMA on reddit too. She made a direct link on reddit to the BunnyRanch website which was a mistake. A lot of people using their computer or smartphone clicked on the link, multiple times, all at about the same time. Some people with smartphones are impatient, when they click on a link they expect to see something new on their smartphone right away. I just looked, she had 17,850,150 subscribers. The web hosting people gave the excuse that it was a Denial of Service attack on the website, so they shut it down. It was a Saturday, and I'm thinking a lot of people might be off of work, and kids gathering together maybe at a shopping mall. From my understanding, when using a smartphone with your cell phone carrier, the carrier is the one actually sending the request to the web hosting site. With open wifi and at home broadband, DSL, etc. the internet service provider sends the request to the web hosting site. Can you imagine tens of thousands of people tapping on their smartphone a dozen times to get to the same link at the same time? Not just in the USA but around the world?
