Reference my response in other topic for further understanding of my thoughts
Just to add: How your personal interactions go with a Lady will often have a large influence on how you vote. And after all isn't that "First hand experience"?
Please define "First hand experience" if you think it's a requirement for voting. I'd love to know. Is talking to her via Email enough, Meeting her in person in the bar, A non sex cuddle party or does "First Hand Experience" require a sexual act was performed? If a sexual act needed to be performed is a hand job sufficient, bj, you just performed oral on her or does it have to include intercourse?
So if it can be any sexual act then its based on how she faked an orgasm while you performed oral on her? Hey this isn't the Academy Awards here!
Yes I know I've gone off the deep end with the above questions. I just did it to show that IMO trying to suggest first hand experience be a requirement to vote is unrealistic and silly
Vote for whoever you think is best no matter what your experience with them is, hell it works for voting for president I think it works here

Since there was no choice for the committee members...I did vote (on the pole above).
Remember, the committee has a big enough problem making sure the voters are real people, and not some scammer trying to mess up things. Trying do determine other factors will be impossible. However, we will be interesting on seeing the opinions expressed.
If there are those with strong feelings, present ideas at the annual committee meeting at the picnic. Of course, feelings need to include methods of implementations.

Oh, we weren't thinking the committee would need to do anything more. We believe most people would honor whatever the committee and it's members decided. We would be fine NOT VOTING if the overall feel of everyone is that only those with first hand experience vote in the final round. We just wanted to submit the poll to see what the average feeling was about this - not to argue about it. We'll do that in other places

I think alternatively perhaps a voter could have had a bad experience with a COY nominee or particular house and cast opposing votes without any firsthand knowledge of those they vote for, but firsthand knowledge of those they chose not to vote for.
Just to be clear, that wasn't the case with my COY voting as I've sung her praises to anyone who asked because she is the bomb and deserves it.

I don't really see the need to make sny further changes to the process unless you have proof of another ECE scandal.
Those that are registered can decide to vote or not. Its not that big of a deal.
I decided back in 2013 I would never submit another nomination for a very obvious reason..
But I have continued to vote in the first round.
The final round I voted if I could find a reason to vote. This year I couldn't find one next year maybe I will.
I wouldn't bother making any further changes unless you have proof of cheating. Your roster of eligible voters list is already very small as it is.

I don't think the voting system requires any major changes. It seems to be working the way it was designed to work, i.e. actual brothel customers who are verified to be real people are voting for their favorite ladies and brothels. The awards committee has done a good job in making the system fair and as objective as possible.
Adding more restrictions to qualify the voters will also reduce the voting pool even further which will result in just a few people determining the outcome. If anything, the ladies and mongers should encourage new brothel goers that they meet to register and get verified to increase the voting pool.
Personally, I think every verified voter should vote, regardless if they've partied with any of the candidates or not. One can make an informed decision, if they take the time and do their homework (e.g. read ladies reviews, follow them on social media and the boards, get opinions from mongers you trust, etc.).

C*MC / LPIN Awards VOTING - MOVING FORWRD

It's desirable for everyone who casts COY ballots to have partied with the Ladies, but that often isn't the case. Furthermore, it would be practical for voters to at least have met the COY candidates in person. If voters haven't met or partied with the COY candidates, they may communicate with them, peruse Courtesans' photos, blogs & posts, or read clients reviews to obtain sufficient information to vote. The committee doesn't ever plan to ensure that voters actually party because it's tough enough having people register and vote. The C*MC / LPIN Awards are basically fun type popularity contests designed to honor exemplary Courtesans and brothels, so the committee doesn't want to become too technical or strict. I've had virtual sex with all the COY candidates, but I've never actually been naked in bed with them all so I need to rectify that situation in the future.
;D
The LPIN Awards Committee will have their annual meeting at IB & Sheri's Annual Picnic on Saturday July 21, 2018 at around noon. If you have ideas, you're welcome to pose them at the meeting.
There are a few suggestions that the committee will consider.
1. Limiting BOY Finalists to 50% of the candidates which would be 3.5 to be rounded up or down has been suggested. There are 7 potential BOY candidates so the Preliminary Voting Round process is inefficient since 5 BOY candidates currently proceed to the Final Round.
2. Preliminary Round voters may vote for COY, BOY or RBOY candidates or choose none. It's never happened in the COY category, but there have been Preliminary Rounds where the BOY or RBOY none votes exceed legitimate brothels votes. The question is should a brothel not proceed to the final round if their votes are less than the number of votes for none?
3. Changing the Nomination Round to a blind nomination where the nominees would be divulged just prior to the Preliminary Voting Round has been suggested. This would largely eliminate a voter from nominating a Courtesan or brothel just for the sake of casting a nomination ballot if their candidates have previously been nominated. Hopefully, this would result in less Preliminary Voting Round candidates and make the contest more efficient.
4. Elimination of the COY finalist tie provision has been suggested. There have only been two years since the beginning of the awards that there were COY ties. If a two or three-way COY final round tie results, maybe all the Courtesans involved in the tie should be proclaimed winners instead of selecting a winner on the basis of a Courtesan's last ballot being received a few minutes earlier.
5. There has been criticism that the nomination and voting rounds are too long. There are 28/29 days in February, 31-3=28 in March and 30-3=27 in April. There will be discussion concerning streamlining the three rounds, but all rounds would probably end on the last day of those months. Therefore, the beginning of the rounds may be changed from the 4th to maybe the 7th or 10th if approved.
6. The committee desires to increase the registered voter list but the requirement that prospective voters meet a registered voter in person to be eligible to register to vote eliminates many legitimate clients. There aren't a tremendous amount of clients that attend the Annual Reno Meeting (C*MC) and not every client who frequents brothels is introduced to a registered voter. Therefore, the committee is seeking to find a resolution to the problem while maintaining the legitimacy of the registration process. The NYC psycho troll and people like him are intent on destroying or manipulating the contests, so the committee must continue to verify voters.

Lets face it, its going to be very rare that someone have partied with all nominees. Even when I was at my most active going twice a month, there was always 1-2 nominees I'd miss.
So in other words, its always going to be a popularity contest, and usually its online presence of either the lady herself or well respected monger/mongers that influence the vote one way or another.

For me it's "None of the above". I usually start out nominating a lady I've partied with, and if she doesn't make it to the finals I'll vote for a lady I've at least met, and or has a good word of mouth from guys I respect.

The choices aren't really fair. You can't vote Yes on number three. Number one is impossible. You can't party with every girl. There's too many.
Just my opinion.

LOL ... we always put these together for fun, and they often turn out to be less fun than we intended. It surely wasn't meant to determine any official results, except to maybe set the tone for what WE would do next year.
This poll, and choices, were intended to be strictly for the final round however - we should have been more clear. Even newb's like us could easily find ladies we partied with during the first rounds - but when you drop it to the final 5 we had no "first had experience" with any of the ladies.
Again, this isn't about us being offended or upset about anything. It's about respecting the efforts of the people that put the awards on, and the ladies who appreciate the awards, enough to not vote if we are unqualified. Just us - no rules, no shaming others into doing anything.
Now, get back to having good sex everyone. See you in July!

No worries. No one is offended. Not me.
