Does writing a review "OUT" a girls pricing?

I don't think I have seen anyone listing a price. Id someone says it's a good deal or that they felt it was expensive that is a valid part of the review. I don't think there is a problem there. In my opinion.

All this chatter about pricing has us feeling warm and fuzzy about the old days, but there is something we've always wondered about and are interested in others thoughts.

We’ve always loved writing reviews of the ladies who are gracious enough to help us fulfill some of our fantasies and adventures.  We like the thought of sharing in hopes that if someone else is looking for similar adventures we may help them AND we may help create some interest, and ultimately some additional business, for the ladies who we shared an experience with.

As people get to know us though, much of our party qualities become obvious - including what we are willing to budget for these adventures.  So, our question is: Are we inadvertently hurting a ladies business when we write a glowing review of a party with her, when people are aware of our budget?

Let’s depersonalize this a little and create a “fictional character”,  We’ll call him ClevelandBill

Let’s say ClevelandBill has a lot of experience with the ladies, but while extremely generous with buying drinks, he is also well known for keeping to a certain budget.  When ClevelandBill writes a fantastic review following a party, it’s easy to assume a few things:
- The lady enjoys some super freaky behavior
- The lady is extremely good at her profession
- The lady is willing to work within a certain budget.

Now, to those of us who care - ClevelandBill has provided a nice post and we personally are interested in learning more about the lady, BUT, given the recent disagreements on the board, has he done the lady a disservice because others now know she’s willing to work with his budget?

Would ladies rather he (or us specifically) didn't write a review?
NOTE: We aren't looking to argue, we generally wonder if we shouldn't be writing a review
DISCLAIMER: Any similarities between our fictional characters and real people is purely unintended.

What do you mean? I can’t think of anyone this resembles?!? Lol
A Lady can ask any price and the client can always walk. If you accept her offer it's on you so don't bitch about it!

To answer your question MWC as far as I know a good review is always appreciated. Your party is your party the next couples will be theirs & the Lady can adjust her price accordingly & the clients can accept or not.
So no your review is not doing a disservice to the Lady imo

Back when I wrote reviews many moons ago I never said what I was paying.  So no it doesn't have to.  Even if someone were to include a price in their review  how do you know they are telling the truth?

I am asked a lot to do a review.  I don't "kiss and tell" but do post reviews.

We wrote reviews for all the girls we met.  We did this for advertising for the ladies. Nobody has ever asked what we’ve paid so... ?‍♂️

Ah yes, I've heard of this Clevelandbill! Awesome guy. I hear he's planning a trip to Amsterdam soon!

But in regards to your post, I don't ever post what I pay for a party, only how painless the negotiation was. Take from that what you will!

LMAO, MWC...and they both know "Bloomington Bud?"

Part of the post-party experience (just to relive it again) is posting a review but don't feel the need to share price points out of respect for the lady.

The fact is reviews don't really mean much of anything anyways even though we try to persuade ourselves otherwise. Someone can be so and so "approved" but that doesn't mean I will have a great party or time with them or that there is anything necessarily exceptional about them in the sack. Great sex depends on chemistry, timing, mood, and so many other factors that its hard to replicate with different people at different times in different settings.

Reviews are also worthless from a pricing perspective since we can't discuss price or know if people are being honest anyways. Reviews were of more value when like before you could access data that showed the average price of parties at different houses and with different ladies without disclosing client information. Then at least you had a ballpark idea of what you might be expected to pay.

While we say we post reviews to show appreciation for a lady (myself included), the real truth is that it's mostly self-congratulatory. In essence we are just looking for affirmation from a rather small group of people (echo chamber) or perhaps hoping to win the lady's favor for future parties as this "community" of mongers is extremely small and relatively negligent to a lady's business as Rachel and others have said many times on many occasions.

Feel free to disagree, but money talks and bullshit walks. If forums were a money maker and full of prospective clients/business then you would have to fight to get a word in edgewise, but instead they are practically courtesan ghost towns.

Well that was positive. I think I'll jump from the ledge now. Lol.

All I can say is this. A good review makes me feel good. It does help business. I have had people say they wanted to see me because of my reviews.

I think some of what you say is most likely true but then again i'm not writing them.

My post probably came off a bit harsh but it’s in our nature to dissemble, even if it’s to protect our own psyche, so sometimes a reality check is a good thing.

I don’t doubt that reviews make you feel good Rachel and have possibly helped your business on occasion. However, you and a minority of other ladies are the exception due to your success and longevity in the business. I don’t know the stats, but I would bet ladies last only 1 year at most or likely 6 months or lower on average, especially in some houses. Most ladies simply aren’t around long enough for reviews to have much effect and again those reviews don’t reach a large audience if just left to forums.

Overall I just don’t see much value in reviews other than as an emotional transaction for the reviewer much like posting on FB or IM’s for likes or attention. Nothing wrong with that of course, but the reality is that most likely the only person that really cares about a “good” review is the one who posted it.

I suppose you could assume that my reviews reflect that of a budget-minded monger.  :P

I've had ladies over the years tell me that they appreciated the reviews that I've written, so I guess I must be doing something right. LOL  I normally don't include pricing, but the reader can probably get a feel for whether it's was a basic party or a more expensive VIP party just from the content of my reviews.  If a reader wants more info, they can always PM the reviewer, but I don't give details to someone I don't know/trust.

I've had some ladies tell me reviews do bring in some business.  A lot of newbies and lurkers come to these boards looking for information about the ladies too and these lurker far outnumber those of us who participate on these boards.  I wouldn't be surprised if the the review forums get more reads than other forums on most of these LPIN sites.  Also, since the brothels and ladies can't advertise like normal businesses, I think every little bit helps in letting others know about the ladies and where they are working.
