SpaceX and NASA Asthetics

This post is purely about asthetics. NASA needs government money and if people don't care about space then they won't get any money. All the popular Hubble pictures and Saturn and Jupiter pictures are chose for the public. They have to wow the people. Most people don't give a crap about Saturn. Hundreds of millions to send a spacecraft to Pluto? That is what the average person thinks. NASA has never figured out that looking good is important. I am NOT knocking NASA. The most important achievements in human history has been because of NASA. It's just that it would be a tremendous benefit to think about how things look.


I think Elon Musk understands that if the ship looks like it was made by Apple then people with be like, "Oh that's so cool". People want to be wowed. SpaceX and NASA are working together now but SpaceX got that going. No matter what you think of Elon you have to give him credit. He wants to do things that benefit the human race and I can see that. He is the ultimate nerd. Solar, Space, Electric cars.


He comes off and weird or nerdy but who cares.


I think NASA working with SpaceX will be a great benefit to space travel. I think humans will get to Mars in my lifetime.

I agree with your thoughts about Elon.  He is a very intelligent individual who is not afraid to speak his mind. Some of the projects he is working on is borderline scary on how it may affect humanity.  Neuralink is one of them that could easily be good or bad bad depending on the direction it gets going on.

It's amazing how he keeps proving people wrong and improving what we have. Brilliant and amazing how he is able to churn out and follow through with ideas I could only imagine once in a lifetime.
