I read your memoir. It was incredibly interesting to read. Honestly I felt like it was the skeleton or draft to a much more compelling story. Sometimes when you’re writing a story about yourself it’s easy to gloss over details because you the writer already know the story. As I read I kept having questions and wished the story was more fleshed out. Either way I read it in its entirety and was deeply moved by your experience. Thank you so much for sharing Dyana

Hi Dyana... My "handle" around here is "SuitcaseLXIX" but my real name is "Bill". I read the description of your book, and I was struck by the similarities between your life and that of a former significant other of mine. Her name was Robyn Few ("was" because she passed from cancer in 2012). You should Google her...

But a few of the similarities... Robyn was a 13 year old runaway, and as such was VERY vulnerable. She was taken into captivity by a motorcycle gang and forced into prostitution by them, until she managed to escape from them. She was an amazing woman, very smart (not well educated, but VERY smart), and she worked tirelessly until her death for sex workers rights, harm reduction, decriminalization, and I aided her to the extent I was able in this. She was known world wide as an advocate for sex worker's rights, actually appeared on Sean Hannity's TV show in which she kicked his ass (I have the video of this). She also appeared in an episode of a Penn and Teller series called "Bullshit", an episode that focused on prostitution (I also appeared in this episode)

Anyway, I have a perspective on prostitution that is unique among most men. If you ever have a desire to discuss with a man who has a pretty good understanding of what you have gone through, let me know...
