LPIN 2024 Banquet

#1

Post by Funmonger »

Many of us have enjoyed the Annual banquet and festivities every year. I didn't make this year's event in Elko, NV. However, hearing from Firefighter, it is planned for Reno next year. He is the man that knows all about the annual LPIN event and the annual festivities, including the picnic and some other public events. IB is another one who is quite knowledgeable of the festivities. If you are new to LPIN or this Board, and have any questions about this annual week of events, please post your questions here. The annual Banquet features the annual Courtesan Award (COY), Brothel of the Year (BOY) Award and Rural Brothel of the Year Award. The annual week of events has a storied past, dating back over 25 years.

Each year during the week of the annual Banquet, the Board of Directors holds a special meeting to determine where the meeting will be held the next year. In general, a year's lead time is considered to be needed in order to make the event reservations and to have it work out successfully. In future years beyond 2024, it is possible that the Award week will be in Reno, Elko, Pahrump or some other city. It has been suggested by some that a consensus of registered voter's opinions will be taken into consideration in deciding where to have the event each year. Keep in mind that voting in a poll does not register one to Vote. I am speaking about an official registration to Vote for the Awards given at the annual LPIN Banquet. For this reason, as well as for the benefit of the ladies and Brothels, it is important that interested participants consider registering to vote on LPIN.com.

The Originator of this group of people goes back to a guy named "Bashful" who started a small meeting of original "Mongers" who met for the first time back in the Reno area over 25 years ago. Some of the old timers from those days are still around although many have passed on. Another pioneer of our group is AB. AB used to host a Monger Board. AB and his lovely wife, Sheri, have also hosted the annual Picnic for many years. This is always a fun time to catch up with old friends. A special "Thank you" goes out to Bashful, AB and Sheri and to everyone else who has made this annual event a success over the years. Special thanks goes to our current Board who has worked hard behind the scenes to make the annual event a success every year. I look forward to being in Reno in 2024 for the next one if I am able to make it out west at that time.

Feel free to log on to LPIN.com to join the group. Again, be sure to register to VOTE. This is the way that you can become a full-fledged Voting "Monger." The Board of LPIN.com has done a great job of managing the awards in recent years. Feel free to post here, especially if you are new to the group or if you have any questions.

Ha Ha Senior Moment i guess. The Critics will kill me online. Perhaps Rachel can kiss this and make it better. let's hope. Yes, I remember Arctic Bear. Wasn't he a photographer of the ladies at times? Perhaps I better shut up while I'm ahead. Yes, IB for Interested Bystander. My apologies to good buddy IB. I've only known the guy about a dozen years or so.
